OUTREACH - ASSISTANCE TO THE MATERIALLY POOR: COMMUNITY MEALS

Our community meal program provides a safe, healthy, and wholesome environment for the families in our neighborhood. Each community dinner, we invite neighbors in to join us for a prayer service in the main church, a nutritious, home-cooked meal served in the beautiful dining space in the church basement, and an opportunity to foster healthy family and community relationships based on Christian values. We are slowly re-starting our community meal program after the pandemic. Keep checking the volunteer calendar and email newsletters for updates about upcoming community meals!

WHAT HAPPENS AT COMMUNITY MEALS?

Dinner

May 11,2024 - Mother's Day Brunch

We had a great Mother’s Day Lunch for about 250 of our neighbors on 5/11! We had a prayer service to pray for all our moms, we ate lunch, and then all moms got flowers and gifts on the way out! It was a lovely day for all! Thank you to St. Paul of the Cross (Park Ridge) and Notre Dame (Clarendon Hills) for your support!
