Please fill out the Team OLA 2027 application form HERE
Between October 12 and October 15, we will begin approving applications. Once your application is approved, you will be sent the link to claim your guaranteed entry to the Chicago Marathon.
Guaranteed entries will be approved on a first come, first serve basis. We expect entries to go fast. Do not delay your application.
We will not be returning emails about 2027 applications until after the 2026 race. We will move through those communications in chronological order after the 2026 race. Thank you for your patience.

Between 2011 and 2025, Team OLA sacrificed thousands of hours training for the Mission. The team has been able to raise over $2,612,000 in the process! We are so grateful for all of Team OLA’s efforts. With the help of our team, friends, and of course, God we hope to reach our 2027 goals:

Benefits of joining Team OLA - MARATHON:
Running Perks: GUARANTEED ENTRIES to the Chicago Marathon, T-shirts, training advice (if wanted) from Sr. Stephanie a former NCAA D1 cross-country/ track athlete and 2:53 marathoner, periodic motivational e-mails, pre race Mass & dinner, race weekend accommodations- and much more!
Spiritual Perks: Each runner will be assigned a member of the prayer team to specifically pray for their intentions during training and during the race. Runners are also remembered daily in the prayers of the Franciscans of the Eucharist.
Easy fundraising: Sample letters and other fundraising information will be provided.

Requirements of being on Team OLA - MARATHON:
Run a marathon!! The Chicago Marathon is on October 10, 2027.
Raise money for Mission of Our Lady of the Angels. Fundraising minimums for 2027:
$2500 for guaranteed entries
$0 if you have your own entry (time, legacy, drawing etc.)
At all levels- you need to pay your own entry fee
