October 2, 2022 -Rededication

On October 2, 2022, we rededicated the former Our Lady of the Angels School to be our new outreach center. October 2, 2022 was the 62nd anniversary of the original rededication of the “new” school building. We were blessed to again dedicate the building in memory of the 92 students and 3 sisters who died here.

As outlined here, the multimillion-dollar renovation project went from 2017 to 2022. The three-story, 70,000-square-foot building will be used to accommodate a weekly food pantry, ground-level storage for donations, a new kitchen and dining room, a chapel for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, offices and classroom space for neighborhood programs for adults, and a new 57-bedroom volunteer residence and retreat space.

We were very blessed to have Cardinal Blase Cupich join us to rededicate the building.
