Congrats Bishop Bob Lombardo! Bishop Bob was ordained on 11/13/20 by Cardinal Blase Cupich at Holy Name Cathedral. Bishop Bob is excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels and Vicariate III of the Archdiocese (where Bishop Bob will be working).
We will be having a larger, in person celebration post COVID restrictions. Please, for now, enjoy these amazing highlights of the weekend!

Pope Francis named Fr. Bob Lombardo to be a new auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago on 9/11/20. Congrats Fr. Bob! Fr. Bob is humbled by this appointment and is asking for your prayers!

Bishop-Elect Bob Lombardo will remain at Mission of Our Lady of the Angels after his ordination on November 13, 2020. 

Bishop-Elect Bob will be the vicar for Vicariate III, the grouping of parishes and Catholic institutions surrounding the Mission. He will continue as the director of Mission of Our Lady of the Angels and the superior of the Franciscans of the Eucharist.
