January 22, 2019 - New Pantry Opens

Welcome to the new Our Lady of the Angels pantry! The Tuesday pantry has made its official move to its new home. Before summer 2017, the Tuesday pantry was functioning out of essentially a glorified closet at Kelly Hall. In 2017, we made the move to the school to an interim pantry layout. The pantry has tripled in size since the move; we currently serve almost 200 families a week at the Tuesday pantry.
As of Tuesday, we now are a full client choice pantry- meaning the panty is set up like a grocery store where the neighbors are able to pick what they want instead of receiving pre made bags. Thank you to ALL who made this move possible, especially the Greater Chicago Food Depository!
We need more help at the Tuesday pantry. Pantry is EVERY Tuesday from 7:45 AM to 12 PM. If you are able to volunteer please, e-mail Sr. Stephanie HERE (olamission@gmail.com).
