May 7, 2017 Franciscan Teaching Ministry/ Dominican University graduation

The Franciscans of the Eucharist of Chicago (more info HERE) are the religious community that runs Mission of Our Lady of the Angels. Part of the Franciscan’s work will be teaching religion in poor Catholic schools that are in danger of closing to help keep these schools open and viable. Sr. Stephanie completed the last step towards becoming a teacher when she graduated with her Masters of Arts in Teaching on Sunday. She is already teaching religion part time at St. Sylvester’s School (near Armitage and Kedzie).
She was asked to say the opening prayer at the graduation as seen below.
