July, 2015: Summer Highlights

We have been having a fantastic summer here at Mission of Our Lady of the Angels! Check out a few of our highlights below.

Kelly Hall
We’ve had about 80 kids in full day summer camp since the beginning of the CPS summer at Kelly Hall. Our full time summer volunteers have been working at the Kelly Hall. Thanks so much Theresa, Will, Danny, and Jarred for helping to make Kelly Hall camp possible!
We also have had several performances from musicians over the summer. One was a traveling choir from Texas at Kelly Hall


Bible Camp

We had 2 weeks of Bible camp at the Mission this year. We are very grateful from our friends with a group sponsored by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) who came to help us run the camp. We had about 35 neighborhood children attend the camp each day. Video highlighting Bible camp 2015 HERE.


July Block Party

We had a great time at our July block party. We had games, food, and fellowship. Additionally, the Jesse White Tumblers put on an amazing performance!



Street Evangelization
	The Franciscans took to the street several times this summer. Our favorite encounter was in Little Italy where we met Miss Annie, Riggins, and their owner, Mary Lou.
